sage outfitting since 2002. Rich really enjoys
the company of the other guides and of the hunters

John Stever is also a native to this area
and has hunted here since 1979.
John has guided hunts for purple sage outfitting
since 1999. He has spent many hours in the field
hunting and scouting and he has a great knowledge
of this area.

been hunting here since 1961.
Rick has been hunting and hiking these mountains
for many years. He has guided for purple sage
outfitting since 1999 but his influence on the
success of purple sage goes back long before
the business was started.

Shane Stever

Shane is a native to this part of Nevada
and started hunting here in 1983. He has been
guiding hunts since 1991. He started guiding
in Montana and Idaho and started his own guide
service in Nevada in 1999. Hunting and being
in the outdoors is my passion there is nothing
I look forward to more than the early fall when
the Velvet antlers are at there peak and the
bulls are starting to bugle.

Kacee is a cook for purple sage
and has been cooking for us since 2007. She
is a wonderful cook spends a lot of time
preparing the meals and loves being in the
outdoors. |
Mark Genet |
Mark is a native Nevadan. His father started including him in hunting
camps in 1970 at the early age of 3
years old. He has been hiking and
hunting the mountains and deserts of
Nevada since then. Hunting Nevada has
truly become his love and passion.
Mark's expertise is in desert mule deer
and desert big horn sheep. Mark has been
guiding for Purple Sage since 2010. He
was first introduced to the Purple Sage
hunting family in 2004.
